Humane Urban Group, Inc. (HUG) is a non-profit organization geared toward improving the lives of community and feral cats by humanely stopping the breeding of these cats by TNR. With TNR the cats are trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, given medical treatment as needed and returned to their original location. We also:

• Advocate the benefits of TNR

• Work to protect community and feral cats from cruelty, thereby enabling them to live in a safe environment

• Promote the spay/neuter of all cats including pets

• Assist caretakers in obtaining free or low cost spay/neuter programs

• Offer free trap loans and instructions on trapping

• Assist in finding furever homes for friendly cats and kittens that have been socialized, spay/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

• We are recognized by the IRS as 501(c) (3), not-for-profit organization. We are chartered in New York State. Contributions are fully deductible to the extent of the law. Every dollar goes directly towards helping the animals. No money is spent on salaries, rent or professional fund raising.
