HUG members receive support and training on trapping feral cats and information on economical spay/neuter programs. Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the most humane strategy for reducing the number of community cats and improving the quality of life for cats, wildlife and people. TNR involves trapping feral cats, spaying and neutering them, vaccinating them (including rabies), surgically removing the tip of one ear, and returning them to their original location. HUG loans traps with a returnable deposit or you can buy your own.
